Overstretched and underfunded refugee camps put over
News Details: November 23, 2015 — Health and shelter for Burundian refugees in Tanzania are poised to get worse in already overstretched camps, the aid agencies Oxfam, HelpAge International, Plan International, Save the Children, International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) warned today, if there is an increased influx of refugees across the border.

Who is left behind when the U.S. resettles fewer refugees
News Details: A recent poll by Pew found that 73 percent of Americans believe taking in refugees who are escaping war and violence is an important goal. Encouragingly, despite the administration’s divisive rhetoric, the number of Americans supportive of resettlement has even increased in recent years. It was only 61 percent in 2016.
